Review

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

This is a cute spin-off/side story to the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series by Fuse. Haven’t not read/seen the original series, I was a bit confused going into this. Maybe it would make more sense if I’d had exposure to the original series, but these seems to be largely a trio of new characters? Anyway, it’s really cute. Phos, Stella, and Nimu are all sent by their leaders to spy on or infiltrate Tempest, and the sort of find their niche – Phos as a member of the town patrol, Stella as a cook, and Nimu as a worker at a fabric shop (?). It’s a cute little fantasy slice-of-life series with a bunch of mythical creatures, which is really fun. I’ll definitely check out more of this series, as I want to see what this trio of troublemakers gets up to!
